INC Community Services Program

INC is involved with several charities around São Paulo. In last few years we have worked with organisations that support street dwellers, abandoned children, the elderly and adolescents in need of training. We donate items these organisations need for their daily activities or provide one off purchases of equipment or furniture. We also encourage members to donate unwanted clothes, toys and household items and deliver them to organisations where they are needed.

This year the INC have been working with several projects run by the Salvation Army (Exercito de Salvação), and in March organised a group of INC members to repaint a creche for children from disadvantaged families. We continue to support Arte e Luz na Rua who provide employment and dignity for street dwellers by training them to manufacture lampshades.

The INC also helps arrange volunteer placements for members. There are many opportunities for volunteering and we encourage members to find a project to support or visit on a regular basis.
